Once again we were forced to change our Enigma Ranks in order to include some new ones for CATACLYSM, so here is some explanation:

GM: Kalanu, Virtuts
OFFICER: Ripmourne, Agregol, (in charge of all PVE / PVP players)
PRO Elite: Raiding Position with added duties (Guild Strategy scribes)
ELITE: Raiding Position
ARENA MASTER: Kidneyd (in charge of all PVP players) **NEW**
PVP: Exclusive Enigma PVP Players **NEW**
PROBATION: PVE Raiding Probation
SOCIAL: Social Rank
ALT: Alt rank

We have combined the Ranks of CORE and HARDCORE and named them ELITE. (There were barely any differences between those two ranks and did not work as intended in the past).

Yesterday we had over 50 players simultaneously on vent and in order to incorporate the PVP element we are now collecting funds to purchase 50 additional slots on vent + 1 year subscription. (that would be 100 Vent spots until 30 Jan)

As Cataclysm is about to pounce on us, we have decided to extend our PVP – player base.
Enigma will be effectively recruiting PVP players for Rated BGs and our Arena Teams.

I would like to announce that Enigma will remain a 25man raiding guild. We have ABSOLUTELY NO intention in becoming a 10 man Raiding Guild. I love the feel of 25 man raiding, the dynamics between classes and achieving common goals. While I am not happy that 10 mans and 25 mans will have the same loot table. There will be no 2-3 groups of 10 man for Cataclysm but a solid 25 man team.

After crunching a few numbers and examining who will be leaving our Guild before cataclysm or stop raiding, I can say that we will have 35 Raiders to take on the challenge.

1o Melee including Tanks (1 Feral Druid / 2 Fury/Arms/Prot Warriors / 3 DK / 2 Ret/ Prot Paladins / 1 Rogue / 1 Enh Shaman)
10 Healers (2 Resto Druids / 2 Holy Paladins / 2 Resto Shamans / 2 H. Priest / 2 Disc Priests )
15 Ranged (5 Mages / 3 Warlocks / 1 Shaman / 2 S. Priest / 3 Hunters / 1 Balance Druid)

We are still recruiting one more Rogue / Bal Druid

We will be also putting a bit more Effort into PVP. There are several high ranking PVP players from other servers who will be transferring to Enigma within a week or two. In addition there will be recruitment for PVP only. I have not yet decided on the format as  yet, however there will be a PVP Rank.

PVP will be a rank in itself and PVP players are not part of the Raiding team. They will have to submit an raiding application if they want to participate in Cataclysm content.

The PVP recruitment form will be posted online soon.

An event happened over the weekend that both Kalanu and I forgot about – that is the fact that September 11 signals the THIRD ANNIVERSARY of our guild forming.

It feels strange to say we have been raiding almost without break now for such a long time but we have and we are still going and the plans are to continue this tradition in Cataclysm.

I will admit, I do not believe that 3 years ago I thought I would still be here helping to run a successful raiding guild and there has certainly been some bumps along the way but I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all those members past and present that have assisted and contributed to the success of the guild.

I would also like to welcome the new arrivals who have recently joined us.

I wish everyone joy and happiness and all those fuzzy warm feelings that make you go “awww” and …..

DIE LICH KING!

Currently we are working very hard on getting the Light of Dawn Achievement before the release of Cataclysm.

There will be no change to that plan as I have set my mind on getting Lichking HM down before Cata hits the shelves. I expect all our raiders to continue with the same enthusiasm they have displayed over the past few months until the day Cataclysm arrives.
I also want to stress that our Paid Lichking 25 Man runs will be held every monday at around 11pm or until the 5o attempts run out.

I have decided to change the pricing for the Lichking achievement as we completed our second run of “NECK-DEEP IN VILE” for our remaining 4 raiders.
While I was opposed to cheapening the achievement as the Lichking kill is a major milestone for any guild I have decided to reduce the fee as have reached the end of the expansion.

Enigma is now selling the 25 Man Lichking kill and title “The KINGSLAYER” for a limited time only.
Get THE FROZEN THRONE achievement and unlock Heroic Content for your Guild.

Also we sometimes accept other runs for Gold, however the terms need to be discussed prior to purchase. Also in order to avoid unnecessary drama, payment needs to be done upfront.
In the case of you not getting the desired achievement you will get all the money reimbursed.
